Skill Mini Clinics – Every Sunday on the following dates: 1/11, 1/18, 1/25; 2/1
Location: Bailey Park - Kennesaw, GA
Pitchers will get an inside look at the foundational philosophies and competitive concepts emphasized by Kennesaw State Softball’s Pitching Coach, Coach Hampton—delivered through an individualized lens. Because pitching is never one-size-fits-all, this 1-hour session is tailored to each athlete’s unique mechanics, strengths, and developmental needs. Pitchers should come prepared with one or two focal points they want to improve, allowing Coach Hampton to provide targeted instruction in areas such as spin development, movement patterns, command, or zone management. This clinic offers a concise but impactful opportunity for pitchers to sharpen their personal approach, make meaningful adjustments, and take a clear next step in their progression.
Catchers will receive a focused introduction to the core defensive principles and skill-building strategies prioritized by Kennesaw State Softball under Coach C. Throughout this 75-minute clinic, athletes will train receiving efficiency, blocking fundamentals, footwork patterns, and game-management concepts essential to leading a pitching staff. This session offers a highimpact look at how to elevate catcher performance through detail, consistency, and Division I-level technique.
Infielders will receive a fast-paced, detail-driven session with Kennesaw State Softball’s infield specialist, Coach Daisy. In this 75-minute clinic, athletes will focus on footwork patterns, glove efficiency, tempo control, and decisionmaking that drives elite infield play. Through high-repetition drills and competitive reps, campers will sharpen their range, clean up their transitions, and learn the techniques KSU uses to build confident, reliable defenders.
Outfielders will train directly under Kennesaw State Softball’s outfield coach, Coach Savala, in a condensed but high-impact 75-minute defensive session. Athletes will work on reads, routes, angles, communication, and controlled aggression—core elements of KSU’s outfield identity. This clinic is designed to elevate athleticism, improve consistency on contact, and teach the concepts that help outfielders cover more ground and make game-changing plays.
These camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and gender).
